0000015: Bananian default CPU speed
After installing latest version of Bananian, I checked my speed and I was surprised to see that it was ~730MHz (I don't remember the exact value). After installing cpufreqd and cpufreq-utils my CPU speed was back at 1GHz. I tweaked it later to make variable from 600MHz to 1GHz.

I'm reporting this as I think it's strange, don't you think ?

installed "cpufrequtils"

added the following lines to rc.local:
# cpu frequency
echo ondemand > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
echo 1008000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
echo 600000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
echo 25 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/up_threshold
echo 10 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/sampling_down_factor
